Our America’s Auto & Tire in Alamosa, CO is located at 2515 Main St, Alamosa, CO 81101. We are located in the same building as the U-Haul Neighborhood dealer, which is on Main St or US Hwy 285 just northwest of the Walker Road exit.
From the Comfort Inn & Suites Alamosa, we are 2 miles away on US Hwy 285 going southeast. We are 20.6 miles south of Hooper, CO, and 13.7 miles south of Mosca, CO. We are located a mere 5 miles northeast of Henry, CO, and 7.3 miles northeast of Estrella, CO. From the local San Luis Valley Regional Airport, you go west on County Rd 9 S to US HWY 285 and travel about 2miles to the Craft Drive exit, and we will be on your right.
For students and professors traveling from Adams State University, travel west on First St, enter the freeway US Hwy 285, and then take the Craft Drive exit, and we will be on your right. If you are at the beautiful Cattails Golf Course, you will drive west on Clark St to US HWY 285 and make a U-turn at the freeway to travel southeast. Exit the freeway at Craft Drive and make a U-turn to go northwest on the feeder road. We will be on your right.

Started having trouble with my cooling system while visiting Sand Dunes National Park. Decided to go straight to Alamosa for help before trying to make it all the way back to Denver. Best experience I have ever had at any auto repair shop! The manager stepped up to repair my issue and get my family back on the road. Thank you!!! I was afraid that my A/C repair was going to cost an arm and a leg. I walked in one day, and James signed me up to come in the very next morning. My car needed a little different chemical than was initially quoted (more expensive), but James was awesome in making sure that my pricing was fair. I was in and out of there in hours, and my A/C works just like brand new! Thank you to James and Miranda, they were super friendly, helpful, and professional! Honest, fast, and inexpensive—highly recommend. We were in a rental car with a flat. They found the problem, repaired it, and we were on our way in less than 30 minutes. 350 miles later and things have been fine so far. Thank you!!!

I was traveling across country and stopped in Alamosa, Co. for the night. I hit a curb and punctured my tire. Fortunately I was right there by the tire shop. I was fortunate enough to have the most awesome experience in a bad situation. They got a tire to be picked up at a halfway point the next morning and I was on my way only about an hour later than planned. Dusty Duran and his staff are very professional, but more important, they go the extra mile for a complete stranger.

The people there we friendly and helpful. Went in to service my truck, rotate the tires and front end alignment. Engine was serviced and tires rotated but found I needed to replace the ball joint on the left front wheel so made appointment for next working day to have ball joint replaced along with new shocks and alignment. Seems like a very good place for auto service and tires.

I can't say enough good things about this place! I’ve been having a stalling issue with my 1995 Ford van for months and was dealing with constant roadside break downs. I had been to several mechanics and no one was able to figure out the issue. I broke down again on my way to Alamosa, and after calling 3 other mechanics that were booked up for weeks, this place was able to fit me in first thing in the morning. They were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. They spent several hours test driving and trying to diagnose my van. They did a very thorough job and kept me informed throughout the whole process. I felt as if they genuinely wanted to figure out the issue rather than just guess and take my money. They put so much time and effort into my van and were able to figure out the issue! Finally, after months of seeing mechanics, I am so happy they were able to figure it out. They replaced the fuel pump at a very reasonable cost. I would highly recommend this place, especially if you’re in a pinch and passing through town. Thank you to everyone here that helped!

Needed work done to my car, they were slightly slow to get it into the shop initially, but once they started working on it they were very quick and very nice about everything. Dusty is the man. Additionally, when the new parts they installed were defective they replaced it at no extra cost. Excellent service, would definitely recommend.

Miranda and Darien went out of their way to help us! We were on vacation in NM and had an accident with my Jeep and needed a replacement lower right control arm. Miranda called every parts store in Alamosa, CO to no avail. Miranda then called a salvage yard and they just happened to have one. Only problem was they had no one to deliver it. Darien, being the awesome mechanic that he is, went and picked up the part! When he got back, he was able to fix the Jeep and get us on our way home to IL. I have never been so impressed with service as I was with Miranda and Darien. If there is any type of recognition that is given to team members, these two definitely deserve it! I was in kind of an emergent situation. I was 3 1/2 hours away from home when I had a flat tire. I needed to have it repaired and found this shop on a google search of the area. They were absolutely amazing! It was taken care of in a couple of hours and due to the fix the concern was that it would not hold. The tech (wish I remembered his name) told me to come back if in the morning the tire was flat and they would put my spare back on and refund me the money. Well, no need for that because the patch held and got me back home! Thank you so much for your help!!

I love the customer service, the guys in the shop are super cool and laid back. I brought my dually at 1:30 to get a rotate and balance I knew it was a big job but they still pulled it in and got to it. I helped but only because when the machine scratched the wheel I didn't want them to think I was gonna make a big deal out of it, I knew it was gonna happen. I will recommend this tire shop to my family and friends because of how great the service is. Matt is one cool guy to talk too and knows what he's talking about. I really appreciate how well they did on my truck. I will be coming back for new tires from them soon. I went back to get my new tires put on Monday, granted some of the employees were not their from the last time. The new employees are just as good and as helpful as the previous ones, super cool people to talk too, and very helpful. The main alignment tech is a super sharp guy, I really appreciated the work he did on my truck, he even straightened my steering wheel when four other shops wouldn't straighten it out, and mind you if anybody read it this far, I drive from Taos to have this company work and put tires on my truck, so if your torn on who to go to for tires, I recommend these guys all day

Very grateful for the service I received. Had a locking lug nut and no key on a rental car with a low pressure light. Went to three different places that were not able to help. A very professional, reliable, honest and very fair priced shop.Before this service our truck had a punctured tire from roadside debris.We located America's Auto Care & Tire (Alamosa, CO,) about 1/4 mile from us and "Missy" had her repair technician remove the tire, check the damage (which wasn't repairable) and install our full size spare tire at no cost.Very rare will you find a business that "helps" someone in need as this shop did.They have earned our business, gratitude and respect. We were on a 15-hour trip and needed to stop and have tires changed on a trailer after a few hours into our journey so we found America's Auto Care was the closest tire center in the upcoming city so we called to ask if they could get us in and they were so accommodating and said they could take care of us as soon as we got there. Once we arrived they were a mechanic short, only because somebody was at lunch, so the most amazing customer service I've ever had was provided by Misty who (side note: also has very beautiful blue eyes) took it upon herself, without me even asking or saying anything, called someone who was on lunch to come back and help us ASAP so we could get back on the road. I can go on and on about how the mechanic was overly friendly and willing to help and provide stellar customer service even though his lunch had just been interrupted There was zero animosity and fantastic service, prices, and customer service that can't be beat. I highly highly highly highly recommend their services and their attention to detail, well-trained staff, management, service personnel, customer service, etc top to bottom this is a 1st class organization that is a rare find in todays society... Thank you for taking such good care of us.

I was scheduled for an alignment and a leveling kit for my daughter's FJ, and was told that my CV axle was bad. Without charging me an extra hour for labor on the CV axle also they replaced my bad one with a new one. However they called me and went over everything with me first. $600 for a 4 wheel alignment, a leveling kit and a new CV axle. Will definitely go back.

Its nice to have another option in the Valley. I had a flat repaired and it was fixed in 15 minutes service was great. The only issue I have the price to repair a flat is double from other tire stores.

I was traveling from my home in Dolores to Colorado Springs and had a blow out on my truck. I got into Alamosa and stopped at the loaf and jug on my way into town and asked where I could get my tire replaced. They sent me to America's Auto care. I knew I was ready for a set of tires before I left home, I was just putting off the inevitable. The guys at America's Auto Care were able to get tires I was looking for at a better price then I could get at home. They even gave me a ride to a great place to eat while I waited for for my truck (they didn't have to do that). Thanks guys at America's Auto... you went above and beyond.... I will be back!!!
